Responsibilities Kforce's client, a well-established manufacturer in the food industry, is seeking a Finance Manager - Capital & Fixed Assets in the Saint Louis, (MO) area. This is a 100% remote position offering a competitive salary, benefits package, and a great company environment. Candidates should be either local or Eastern time zones but not required. Summary: The Finance Manager - Capital & Fixed Assets oversees financial management and accounting activities related to fixed assets. This includes leading annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for Capital Expenditures. The role requires strong accounting, financial analysis, and asset management skills. Responsibilities include accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets, compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support decision-making. Duties: • Oversee recording, reconciliation, and maintenance of fixed asset accounts per accounting standards and company policies • Ensure accurate and timely posting of fixed asset transactions (acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation) • Maintain an up-to-date fixed asset register (cost, useful life, location, depreciation method) • Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconcile with the fixed asset register • Manage annual capital expenditure budget and monthly forecasting • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop long-term capital asset plans aligned with strategic objectives • Monitor actual fixed asset expenditures against budgeted/approved amounts and provide timely reporting • Partner with IT to drive system enhancements and continuous process improvements • Provide guidance and developmental leadership to direct reports • Prepare ad-hoc reports and participate in special studies/teams to assist management in evaluating key opportunities Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 7+ years of finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Sales experience preferred) • Knowledge of financial processes (modeling, control, analysis, reporting, budgeting) • Proficiency in accounting principles, asset management, and financial reporting • Strong knowledge of depreciation methods and IFRS fixed asset accounting standards • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Hyperion Essbase) • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and results-driven The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
