Kforce has a client in Waltham, MA that is seeking a Customer/1 Billing Business Analyst with proven experience in the Energy and Utilities sector. Roles and Responsibilities: • Requirement Gathering - Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements • Data Management & Reporting - Analyze billing data, generate reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations • System Enhancements - Collaborate with developers to implement updates and enhancements in the mainframe billing system • Issue Resolution - Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring seamless operations • Compliance & Documentation - Maintain documentation for billing processes and ensure adherence to industry standards • Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as a bridge between business teams and IT to align billing system functionalities with business goals • 4-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale utility or CIS projects • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Customer/1 (C1) billing processes or system enhancements • Strong understanding of Energy and Utilities operations, including meter-to-cash, billing, rates, and customer data management • Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and stakeholder communication • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments Nice to Have: • Knowledge of SQL or ability to query data for validation and analysis • Exposure to automation, data migration, or modernization initiatives • Previous experience working with the company or other large systems integrators The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
