Role Overview: As the Head of Business Development for Media & Entertainment, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to expand Keywords Studios' presence in the media and entertainment sectors. You will lead a dynamic team to identify new business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and drive revenue growth while aligning with the company’s vision and values. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies tailored to the media and entertainment markets. - You will identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with content creators, distributors, and streaming platforms. - You will lead negotiations and close high-value deals that align with company goals. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. - You will mentor and manage a team of business development professionals to achieve targets. - You will represent Keywords Studios at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. - You will report regularly to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the media, entertainment, or related technology sectors. - Proven track record of successfully closing complex deals and driving revenue growth. - Strong understanding of the media and entertainment landscape, including digital streaming and content distribution. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. - Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with video game industry clients or platforms. - Established network within media and entertainment industries. - Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, VR, or blockchain in media. - Multilingual abilities or international business experience.
