Location: Bakersfield, CA Pay: $25 – $30 per hour Job Description: About company: Our client is a leading water well drilling, pump repair, and fabrication company serving agricultural, industrial, and municipal clients in Central and Southern California. They pride themselves on delivering reliable, high-quality service with a skilled, team-oriented workforce. Responsibilities: • Operate manual and CNC lathes to produce precise components for pumps, well systems, and other machinery. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Measure and inspect completed parts for quality assurance. • Maintain and clean machinery and shop workspace. • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines. Requirements: • Proven experience as a lathe machinist in an industrial or fabrication setting. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Knowledge of metalworking and machining principles. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work. • Team-oriented and safety-conscious.
