Sales Account Manager We're seeking a dynamic sales account manager with a hunter mentality to drive growth in the refreshing beverages segment across the West Coast. This is a remote role, and candidates must reside on the West Coast to effectively engage with regional customers and attend key events. In this position, you'll identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic relationships with key customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative taste and nutrition solutions. Key Responsibilities Sales & Strategic Business Development • Drive growth in refreshing beverages across the West Coast with a strong "hunter mentality." • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with key regional customers. • Communicate Kerry's value proposition and tailor solutions to meet specific market needs. • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand Kerry's presence in the refreshing beverages segment, targeting high-potential markets and emerging trends. • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. Regional & Matrixed Collaboration • Navigate a highly matrixed environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams and leveraging Kerry's global network to deliver innovative beverage solutions. • Act as the central point of contact between West Coast customers and Kerry's internal teams for seamless integration of resources and expertise. • Stay informed on regional market dynamics, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and drive results. Customer Engagement & Travel • Commit to regular travel throughout the West Coast to visit clients, attend industry events, and represent Kerry at key engagements (up to 50% travel expected). • Immerse yourself in beverage industry trends, fostering strong connections and maintaining Kerry's leadership in taste and innovation. Focus on Taste & Innovation • Develop a deep understanding of Kerry's expertise in taste, flavor, and functional beverage innovation. • Position Kerry's offerings as market leaders and drive initiatives that emphasize taste, nutrition, and sustainability in product development. Qualifications and Skills Professional Skills & Experience • Proven track record in strategic sales or account management, preferably within the beverage or flavor industry. • Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in a competitive, fast-paced market. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Experience working in a matrixed environment and collaborating effectively across diverse teams. • Familiarity with West Coast beverage market dynamics and customer base is highly desirable.
