Role reports to: Senior Manager, IP Operations Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What you will do We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and self-starting Trademark Data Analyst to join our collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in trademark administration and data analysis, who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and enjoys working on diverse projects. Key Responsibilities: • Interpret trademark correspondence to identify data entry errors and resolve inquiries from outside counsel • Manage trademark assignment and chain of title changes, including communication with outside counsel • Assist with performing periodic data audit of IP database and trademark records to verify accuracy. Create database queries and prepare reports for management, attorneys and staff. Assist in establishing appropriate internal controls to safeguard trademark estate including database and records • Review and perform data entry of trademark agreement records in IP database and assist in the development and maintenance of procedural documentation (SOPs), conduct continuous review of existing processes and develop and implement process improvement as necessary • Verify details of Powers of Attorney (POA), assignments, and related documents, preparing them for attorney signature, notarization, and legalization • Support the IP Operations Manager in departmental projects such as organizing POAs, running reports, and data verification • Provide assistance with the registration and transfer of domain names as needed • Assist with overflow projects and provide backup during team members' absences • Verify details of Powers of Attorney (POA), assignments, and related documents, preparing them for attorney signature, notarization, and legalization Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum of five years of trademark experience, particularly with trademark assignments and chain of title changes • Experience with registering domain names and handling ownership transfers • Preferred but not required: New Jersey Notary certification • Strong organizational, teamwork, and time management skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • Experience handling high-volume, complex data with the ability to multitask and work under pressure • Proficiency in Excel (including advanced data analysis and manipulation such as pivot tables), Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat • Proven ability to manage projects independently while providing clear updates to the IP Operations Manager • Required proficiency in trademark IPMS databases, preferably Memotech • Understanding of trademark law to perform duties with minimal supervision • Comfortable using AI applications and other information technology and document management tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effective interaction at all company management levels • This position requires a combination of technical trademark knowledge, administrative skills, and interpersonal effectiveness to support IP operations efficiently within a collaborative environment What’s in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $60,690.00 - $85,680.00 This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors. • Competitive Benefit Package* • Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More! • Learning & Development Opportunities • Kenvuer Impact Networks • This list could vary based on location/region • Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
