Role Reports To Director, Global Brand Protection, NA Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What You Will Do The Lead Analyst, North America (NA) Global Brand Protection is responsible for ensuring brand integrity and consumer safety by conducting thorough analyses of brand protection issues, monitoring online marketplaces for violations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective investigative strategies. They must maintain accurate investigative records, coordinate enforcement efforts with third-party vendors, and conduct regular assessments of vendor performance to support a robust framework for brand protection. Key Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth analysis of brand protection issues including counterfeiting, diversion and tampering of consumer health goods. • Monitor and analyze online marketplaces, social media, and other open-source intelligence to identify potential violations of brand rights, IP and product diversion. • Analyze multiple internal data sources to identify linkages and patterns to support the triage process for new incidents; support ongoing investigations; and build the intelligence picture of illicit supply chains. • Set and deliver against structured action and collection plans for each investigation. • Review, assess and obtain alignment from the Regional Director on Vendor investigative plans (IP) and estimated budgets. • Support the investigative process and suggest modifications to IPs and budgets as required. • Under the guidance of the Regional Director, engage with internal and external stakeholders in determining appropriate investigative strategies. • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors on investigations referred for enforcement. • Ensure investigative records are maintained in an accurate, timely, and thorough manner and related metrics are appropriately captured in the case management and intelligence management systems. • Assist in conducting periodic vendor performance assessments. • Support local evidence storage and destruction processes. Required Qualifications What we are looking for • At least 3 years demonstrated experience in Product Security Investigations or closely related discipline in a relevant industry. • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Law, Criminology, logistics, …) or equivalent through experience. • Experience in consumer goods, personal care, healthcare, e-commerce, or brand protection industry or law enforcement • Strong leadership skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams. Desired Qualifications • Product security investigations experience, preferably in healthcare. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent presentation and communication skills (writing & oral), with proven “customer service” orientation. • Innovative, independent, and able to manage a heavy workload in a high performing environment. • Committed to successfully operating in a matrixed environment with an exceptional level of collaboration, clarity, honesty and integrity. • Ability to clearly present and communicate new ideas or positions to meet key goals and objectives. • Passionately care about protecting Company interest and serving others with dignity and respect. • Committed to helping colleagues across functions, business units, and geographic boundaries. • Able to prioritize, plan and execute work programs on own initiative with developed sense of self-knowledge, knowing own limitations and able to judge when it is necessary to consult/ inform/involve others. • General understanding of investigation-related regulations across the region. • Ability to analyze raw information and keep issues in proportion when under pressure. • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, including flexibility to operate in a hybrid team environment (remote & onsite). • Proficiency in conducting OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) gathering. • Knowledge of proper collection, transportation, and storage of evidence. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
