3-5 years of social media strategy or digital communications experience, strong writing and editing skills, design/layout experience with graphic resizing and PowerPoint, and ability to analyze data to optimize content.
We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organized Social & Content Strategist to elevate The Aesthetic Society ’s presence across digital platforms. This role leads content strategy and day-to-day execution for our social media and content channels—supporting membership growth and engagement, consumer education, and promotional campaigns for initiatives and events like, The Aesthetic MEET, Symposiums, and the Aesthetic Society Academy and nurturing a sense of community building where they perceive value.This is a hands-on role with a strong creative component. In addition to content planning and copywriting, this person will be responsible for light graphic production tasks—such as resizing artwork, adapting content for various formats (social media, email, PowerPoint, print), and working within brand templates. The strategist will also provide onsite social media and content support at select Aesthetic Society meetings and events, including capturing behind-the-scenes footage, posting real-time updates, and assisting with live content planning.The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with the technical skills to execute efficiently and consistently.Develop and implement strategic content plans across The Aesthetic Society’s consumer-facing and professional-facing channelsWrite, edit, and schedule social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) tailored to each platformMonitor performance analytics, track KPIs, and make data-informed recommendationsMaintain and manage a content calendar that supports organizational goals and campaign timelinesTrack, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across platforms to continuously optimize content and campaign performanceTest, learn, and iterate in concert with creative agency and any outside digital firms supporting organization and its growth marketing initiativesResize and adapt creative assets for social, email, PowerPoint, and print formatsBuild basic PowerPoint slides (e.g., announcements, QR codes, event info) with clear layout and consistent visual identityCollaborate with creative agency and freelancers on high-level creative needs while owning day-to-day design tasksCoordinate cross-departmentally to support educational programs, membership initiatives, and event promotionContribute to defining and maintaining brand tone and visual identity across all channelsProvide onsite support at Aesthetic Society events—capture live content, assist with social coverage, and ensure brand alignment in real timeQualifications:Proven ability to analyze data and adapt strategies based on performance insights3-5 years of proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital communications—preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or association settingStrong writing, editing, and organizational skillsDesign/layout skills and experience resizing graphics or building clean, on-brand PowerPoint slidesCollaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines across multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of the aesthetic space or interest in medicine, education, or professional communities is a plusINTERESTED APPLICANTS To apply, please send your resume, a brief statement of interest, and 3–5 samples of relevant work to socialhire@theaestheticsociety.org with the subject line: Your Name- Social & Content Strategist ApplicationWe’re specifically looking for examples such as:Analytics reports or case studies demonstrating how data informed strategy, optimization, or campaign resultsSocial media posts or campaigns (with visuals and captions)Short-form video or reel clips (or links)Brief writing samples that show brand-aligned tone (e.g., captions, email copy, promotional blurbs) #J-18808-Ljbffr
