My The Kentucky FFA Foundation is seeking a Donor Relations & Events Coordinator who will serve as the heartbeat of our donor experience, ensuring every supporter feels valued, appreciated, and connected to the mission of growing Kentucky’s next generation of leaders. This role is perfect for someone who is empathetic, organized, self-motivated, and energized by building relationships. What You’ll DoDonor Experience & Stewardship (60%) You will help create an exceptional donor journey—from first gift to lifelong partnership. Responsibilities include: • Build meaningful relationships and donor experiences that help us retain & grow donors, ultimately leading to more funds raised. • Managing and tracking donor touchpoints in DonorPerfect (contacts, assignments, notes, flags, and data updates) • Executing a comprehensive stewardship strategy, including phone calls, video coordination, digital and physical stewardship pieces • Tracking birthdays, giving anniversaries, and special donor milestones • Preparing donor reports & conducting prospective donor research, setting our fundraising staff up for success. • Weekly data input and ensuring donor records remain accurate and up-to-date • Maintaining high-quality data, including regular cleanup of duplicates, bad addresses, preferred emails, and salutations • Maintaining & overseeing important database categories and ensure accurate tagging for: • Past State Officers • Volunteers • Convention sponsors & contest supporters • Gala attendees • Agriculture teachers • Board members • Forever Blue donors • Legacy donors Event Coordination & Hospitality (40%) You will ensure our events are polished, welcoming, and mission-centered by managing invitations, RSVPs, venue communication, and donor interaction across multiple events, including: Major Annual Events • KY FFA Blue & Gold Gala - (Saturday in September/October) • KY FFA Convention Sponsors Dinner & Past State Officer Dinner (June 9-11, 2026) • Regional FFA Fundraising Dinners (TBD) • Retired Ag Teachers Luncheon (September) • KY FFA Foundation Board Meetings (February 12th, June 10, August 27th, November 2nd) • Kentucky Farm Bureau Annual Meeting (December) • For each event, you will: • Serve as the venue point-of-contact, planning & confirming all of the details • Create and send invitations • Track RSVPs • Log event-related contacts in DonorPerfect • Support hospitality, refreshments, and day-of logistics where needed • Who You Are This job is ideal for someone who: • Finds fulfillment in supporting a mission that changes students' lives. • Lights up around people and builds relationships easily • Have a knowledge, understanding and heart for the Kentucky FFA Organization • Is highly organized and can juggle multiple tasks gracefully • Pays attention to the details others might miss • Communicates warmly and professionally • Enjoys creating positive experiences for donors and partners • Finds fulfillment in supporting a mission that changes student lives • Have a college degree or applicable experience • Is proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of their work • Why You’ll Love Working With Us • You’ll make a direct impact on the lives of Kentucky FFA members. • You’ll work with a passionate, mission-driven team that values people first. • You’ll be part of a supportive culture where relationship-building is at the heart of everything we do. • You’ll play a key role in shaping the donor experience for Kentucky’s leading youth development organization. Employee Benefits • Salary, around $45,000-$50,000 depending on experience. We are paid by by-weekly, direct deposit. • $500 Monthly HSA Contribution or $500 in health coverage. • 3% IRA match • $125/Month Home Office stipend • Federal mileage rate reimbursed on all work related travel. Travel expense reports are to be submitted monthly and approved by the Executive Director. • Paid Holidays & Time Off • Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day. • Full-time employees will receive 15 Paid Time Off days upon hire. PTO days will increase to 17 days after one year of employment and 22 days after the 4th year of employment. 7 days can be carried forward. The Foundation will not payout these days at the end of employment. Employees may not take more than 30 PTO Days in one year. • Employees will receive a paid 8 week maternity leave or a 2 week paternity leave. If an employee would like to use additional days, they will come from their Paid Time Off. • Days will be managed & approved by the Executive Director. • Flexible work hours • When an employee is asked to work outside of regular hours at a Kentucky FFA Foundation function, flex time to cover those hours may be arranged with the Executive Director. • Remote employment • Opportunity for paid professional development. This has included one paid class or experience annually, like the School of Fundraising or other courses deemed appropriate and approved by the Executive Director & Board Chairman. • Expenses related to travel such as hotel stays, meals, etc. are paid by the Kentucky FFA Foundation and must be necessary and reasonable.
