Role Description This remote role is for a Vancouver Citation Specialist, available for immediate start. The Vancouver Citation Specialist will be responsible for formatting citations and bibliographies in the Vancouver referencing style for a wide range of academic writing, specifically medical writing. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing, verifying, and editing references for accuracy, checking for adherence to publication standards, and collaborating with authors and editors to ensure the highest quality of citation formatting. Additionally, the Specialist will maintain organized documentation and assist with citation-related queries and updates. Qualifications • Strong proficiency in Vancouver citation style and experience with formatting and verifying references • Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Familiarity with academic publishing standards and conventions • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with authors and editors • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adhere to deadlines • Background in academic or professional publishing is preferred • Graduate degree in Medical Sciences, English, or a related field is an advantage Must have specific knowledge on Vancouver Style.
