Full Description

Kennys Academy of Barbering & Cosmetology School is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Client Service Representative/Front Office professional to join our front office team. The CSR is the first point of contact for clients, students, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while supporting the school’s daily operations. Key Responsibilities • Front Desk Reception: Greet clients, students, and visitors with professionalism and warmth. • Administrative Support: Assist with student check-ins, maintain client records, and process payments. • Sales Support: Operate Promote retail products, upsell services, and contribute to revenue goals. • Appointment Scheduling: Manage bookings for barbering/cosmetology services using scheduling software. • Customer Service: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about services and programs. • Compliance: Uphold school policies, state board regulations, and sanitation standards. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with instructors, students, and management to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Professional appearance and positive attitude • Holds extremely high morals, values, and integrity, while representing the company brand in a professional manner. • Previous customer service or front desk experience required (salon, spa, or school setting ideal) • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills • Proficiency with scheduling software and POS systems Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage: $15–$17 per hour depending on experience • Hours: Part Time Monday-Friday 5-9 pm* Saturday 9-2pm • Flexibility to work a Saturday 9-2 if needed* • Supportive, creative, and dynamic work environment • PTO after completion of 90-day probationary period • Opportunities for career growth within barbering/cosmetology education and administration Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off Application Question(s): • Do you have the flexibility to work beyond normal scheduled time if needed? • Have you ever worked within a front facing client focused hospitality setting previously?
