Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years relevant experience including 2-5 years technical industrial sales and knowledge of surface wear and petrochemical/refinery/pump solutions preferred.
Description: • Field sales position focusing on in-depth customer engagement and understanding of needs • Ownership of focus products growth in North America (Conforma Clad Petrochemical, Refinery, and Pump products) • Identifying opportunities for Kennametal’s Conforma Clad and Stellite wear solutions • Promote and implement custom and standard Kennametal solutions • Establish and maintain relationships with customers; understand challenges and follow through on commitments • Advocate for Kennametal to customers and for customers to Kennametal • Territory management to drive business segment growth to new and existing customers • Collaborate across multiple business segments • Develop and maintain customer data to provide consultative partnership • Execute growth initiative projects within the market segment • Travel up to 50%, primarily in Southern US, occasionally outside that area Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in Business, marketing, engineering, or technical degree preferred • 5-8 years of relevant experience required • 2-5 years technical industrial sales experience preferred • Knowledge of and experience with surface wear solutions preferred • Knowledge of and experience with petrochemical, refinery, or pump solutions preferred • Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily in Southern US Benefits:
