Role Overview: As a Bilingual Healthcare Services Representative I, you will be the first point of contact for patients accessing our services. Your role is essential in scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and providing courteous, efficient support to ensure a seamless patient experience. What You'll Do: - You will schedule patient appointments promptly and courteously using our PC-based systems. - You will confirm appointments and manage cancellations efficiently to optimize clinic schedules. - You will problem-solve patient concerns by utilizing available resources and escalating issues when necessary. - You will provide comprehensive service to facilitate patient access to healthcare services. - You will communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to assist a diverse patient population. - You will maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in all interactions. - You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care coordination. - You will handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive experience. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a healthcare customer service or patient access role. - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and electronic health records. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered service. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a multi-specialty clinic or hospital setting. - Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes. - Certification in Medical Office Administration or related field. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
