What You'll Do: - You will schedule patient appointments promptly and courteously using computer systems. - You will confirm appointments and manage cancellations efficiently to optimize scheduling. - You will assist patients by problem-solving and utilizing available resources to address their needs. - You will provide comprehensive service to facilitate smooth patient access to healthcare. - You will communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support diverse patient populations. - You will maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up. - You will handle patient inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a healthcare customer service or patient access role. - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal. - Strong computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and electronic health records. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a clinical or hospital setting. - Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. - Certification in patient access or healthcare customer service. - Additional language skills beyond English and Spanish.
