Title: New Verticals Project Associate – Catalog & CPG Ads - 28013 Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote eligible; periodic travel required) Classification: W2 under Staffing Supplier Contract Duration: March 9, 2026 – December 31, 2026 Compensation: $44.20/hour Visa Sponsorship: Not provided Position Overview A high-growth merchant experience operations team is seeking a Project Associate to deliver operational excellence for catalog management and CPG brand advertising across new verticals in e-commerce. This role acts as the critical link between business strategy and daily execution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in catalog operations while supporting advertisers, developing scalable workflow improvements, and integrating automation and AI solutions. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end intake, triage, and resolution of catalog requests from CPG advertisers, coordinating closely with Sales and Ads stakeholders on priority issues. • Provide timely and clear communication on project status and resolution outcomes to external advertiser partners. • Identify recurring operational issues and streamline workflows to boost speed, quality, and scalability. • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Ads, Catalog, Product, Analytics, Strategy, and Operations—to unlock new advertising opportunities and enhance catalog coverage. • Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting talent growth, operational accuracy, and accountability. • Translate business strategy into executable workstreams and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives. • Leverage data and dashboard tools (e.g., Mode, SQL, Snowflake, Google Sheets) to analyze trends, track KPIs, validate results, and inform team-level decisions. • Integrate AI and automation into daily operations, piloting and scaling solutions that increase efficiency and team impact. • Support a learning-centered, inclusive team culture founded on operational rigor and excellence. Qualifications • 3–4 years of experience in catalog operations or consulting within e-commerce, advertising, or related industry. • Proven ability to build and manage detail-oriented, high-quality processes in fast-moving environments. • Analytical mindset with intermediate-to-advanced Excel and/or SQL skills; experience using data to drive structured problem-solving. • Strong strategic thinker with ability to connect day-to-day execution to broader business goals. • Excellent verbal and written communicator, translating complex data into actionable insights and guidance. • Bias for action, urgency, and ownership; able to thrive in ambiguous settings. • Project management expertise and ability to navigate matrixed, cross-functional teams. • Passion for integrating and scaling AI, automation, and analytics tools.
