Job Description: Tablet Press and Powder Coating Machine Operators Location: Garland, TX Company Type: Nutraceutical Manufacturing Position Summary: The Tablet Press and Powder Coating Machine Operators are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of nutraceutical products. These roles ensure all production activities meet established quality, safety, and efficiency standards under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate tablet press or powder coating machines according to batch records and product specifications. Perform in-process checks for tablet weight, hardness, thickness, and coating uniformity. Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent production quality. Monitor the production process and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Accurately complete batch documentation, logbooks, and production records. Clean and sanitize equipment between production runs in accordance with SOPs. Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Follow all company policies related to safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year of experience operating tablet press, powder coating, or other pharmaceutical/nutraceutical production machinery preferred. Working knowledge of GMPs and standard manufacturing practices. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret batch records and standard operating procedures. Basic math, documentation, and data entry skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods. Work Environment: Manufacturing environment with exposure to powders, machinery noise, and controlled temperature conditions. Requires use of PPE such as gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, and lab coats. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
