Project Manager – Automotive Contract: Long-term (typically 3+ years) Benefits: Fully benefited Location: 17000 Southfield Road, Allen Park, MI Pay: $27.50/hr ($57k/year) Job Description: The Engineering Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the build floor and the engineering community within Ford’s Ready for Testing Group. The primary responsibility is to assist the build community in achieving program timing, ensuring seamless coordination, communication, and execution of critical build programs. Key Responsibilities: • Liaison Support: Act as the primary point of contact between the build floor and engineering teams, facilitating effective communication and resolving issues as they arise. • Build Program Coordination: Support the build community in meeting deadlines, ensuring program timelines are maintained and deliverables are tracked. • Union Environment Support: Efficiently operate within a union environment, understanding and respecting relevant protocols and procedures. • Update Pack Management: Responsible for entering update packs in the Ford system and closing them out upon completion as required. • Parts Order Management: Place part orders, track orders through Ford’s process, and ensure timely receipt of parts. • Data Entry & Administration: Perform accurate data entry, maintain records, and provide administrative support as needed. • Meeting Facilitation: Support and organize key meetings, including startup meetings for all programs, unresolved issue reviews, closure timing sessions, stop build reviews, and vehicle priorities discussions. • Follow-Up & Issue Resolution: Ensure outstanding issues are followed up on and closed efficiently and escalate as necessary. • Reporting: Provide timely updates and summaries to leadership regarding program status, part orders, and issue resolution. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience working in a union environment within the automotive or manufacturing industry. • Knowledge of build processes and program management. • Superior organizational, follow-up, and communication skills. • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. • Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills. • Familiarity with Ford systems and processes is a plus. 10081068
