Keller & Keller is a progressive, fast-paced and rapidly growing personal injury and Social Security disability firm located in Indianapolis. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to fill a disability intake specialist position. A disability intake specialist evaluates new potential claims, is the major point of contact for potential Social Security clients, and prepares initial benefits applications for clients whose cases are accepted. While a familiarity with social security disability, basic medical terminology and administrative legal systems or Spanish-language fluency would all be a plus, the ideal candidate will be someone who is adaptive, eager to learn, able to switch between tasks throughout the day, and comfortable with speaking with many people over the phone every day. The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as this position requires daily communication with clients. Organizational skills, effective time management, and a compassionate approach are a must. Previous legal experience is NOT required; we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to help our clients and a willingness to go the extra mile to succeed. We are looking for people who are comfortable using computers and technology in a fast-paced environment. Other tasks are associated with this position, and there are opportunities to take on new work over time. The hours for this full-time position are 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, with no overtime or weekend hours required. Maintaining a work-life balance is very important to us.
