Description As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you get to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities by assisting, instructing, and supporting individuals living in our residences to be as independent as possible. Promote the health, safety and well-being of the individuals while building positive, meaningful relationships. Advocate for individuals in our residences to communicate their wants/needs and integrate them into the community for recreation. Perform various tasks to promote a well-rounded environment by doing light housekeeping, helping individuals plan nutritious meals, and administering medications as needed. Participate in regularly scheduled trainings to enhance skills and knowledge to continue to support the individuals in the best way possible. Part-Time and Full-Time shifts available, $20.00 per hour New Pay Rate Requirements Ability to perform all job functions High School diploma or equivalent preferred Valid New York State Driver's License may be required depending on the shift. Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Be a positive role model for the individuals we support and other staff.
