Keish Environmental Is Hiring: Assistant Project Manager for Environmental, LA to Anaheim Are you an experienced professional with a passion for navigating the complexities of construction compliance and environmental regulations? The Assistant Project Manager for Environmental on High Speed Rail for the LA to Anaheim line may be for you. Position Summary: Assists the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager in the management of the project section of LA to Anaheim through preliminary engineering for project definition. Support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager in managing the regional consultant, responsible for quality, on-time delivery of environmental clearance documents. Key Responsibilities: • Support the management of the regional consultant responsible for the delivery of the environmental clearance documents • Assist in the development and management of scope, schedule, and budget for the delivery of the project section • Manage coordination between interdisciplinary teams • Support coordination with local jurisdictions, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies • Support Southern California Regional Director • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental studies or equivalent Experience: • At least 7 years of experience in managing the delivery of environmental documents, analyses, and reports for project section approval on major infrastructure projects, experience with major federal and state funded transportation projects, familiar with transportation projects and disciplines Knowledge and Abilities: • Proven knowledge of various phases and functional responsibility of rail project and transportation infrastructure project development and delivery, federal and state contracting laws and regulations; knowledge of various phases of NEPA and CEQA processes to achieve Record of Decision and Notice of Determination for major infrastructure projects • Deep familiarity with California permitting and regulations • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, business users, and consultants.
