Position Overview KeenLogic is seeking a Senior (SNOW) Developer to support a long-term, fully remote engagement on a U.S. Senate contract. This role requires deep ServiceNow platform expertise, technical leadership, and experience developing scalable, secure solutions in a highly regulated government environment. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will serve as a technical authority, guiding platform design decisions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices and federal compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules Architect and implement complex workflows, integrations, and custom scoped applications Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and administrators Ensure platform configurations are upgrade-safe, performant, and secure Collaborate with government stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads Review code, enforce standards, and promote ServiceNow best practices Troubleshoot complex issues and provide root-cause analysis Oversee deployment strategies and update set management across environments Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation Support change management and release activities in a production government system Required Qualifications 8-10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise (Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions) Extensive experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) Strong experience building and supporting ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP) Proven experience designing scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions Experience working in federal government or highly regulated environments Strong understanding of ServiceNow security, roles, ACLs, and data protection Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow certifications (CSA required; CAD, CIS highly preferred) Experience supporting U.S. Senate or federal legislative branch systems Experience leading ServiceNow development teams Familiarity with ITIL and Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with performance analytics, reporting, or ITOM modules Security Requirements Ability to pass a government background check U.S. citizenship required due to Senate contract requirements
