Mission The KeelWorks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) approved nonprofit foundation dedicated to' to support a better world by fostering learning competence, emotional intelligence, and networked intelligence, with a particular focus on empowering the economically disadvantaged. We aim to promote global economic equality through individual empowerment and inclusion, ultimately creating a more peaceful and equitable world. We specifically aim to bring greater participation to the economically disadvantaged across the globe and in building a system to support upward mobility. We operate on the belief that unrealized human potential is a loss for everyone, that circumstances don't define individuals, that the hunger for learning is universal, and that every learner has unique gifts. Our programs include KeelWings, which provides practical experience for recent graduates, and KeelMate, which supports the experienced professionals. About the Role Product Managers focus on keeping the product on schedule and judged by product adoption, and realize that this can't happen without product delivery. About the Position Key Job Duties for Product Managers include: • Defining the Product Vision and Strategy/Understanding Customer Needs/Partnering with UX Research. They gather and analyze feedback, conduct market research, and identify customer needs and market trends. They developi a Product Roadmap and create a long-term plan for the product's development, including feature releases, packaging, and launch. In addition, they set Product Goals and define what success looks like for the product, including key performance indicators (KPIs). • Leading Cross-Functional Teams/Collaborating with Stakeholders. This involves prioritizing and delegating and managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks, and delegating work to other team members. They work with engineering, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on the product vision and strategy, effectively communicating the product vision, roadmap, and progress to all relevant parties. • Managing the Product Lifecycle. They oversee the development of new product features and ensure that the product meets customer needs and coordinate the launch of the product, including marketing and sales efforts. They practice continuous improvement and monitor product performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. • Other Key Responsibilities include Market Research to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities. Also, Risk Management, by identifying and mitigating potential risks to the product and Data Analysis, utilizing data to track product performance and make informed decisions. What We’re Looking For Professional Product Management work experience, or comparable work experiences that allow you to effectively perform the Product Manager role. Understanding of the Product Life Cycle and/or software development lifecycle from research to development and/or equivalent education and training. Ability to manage projects with emotional intelligence and a results-oriented mindset. Experience prioritizing, delegating, and coordinating work effectively while translating vision into clear actions and outcomes across product and/or service lifecycles. Experience working in and with teams and building partnerships. Effective communicator and practitioner of continuous improvement.
