Define and manage project management office processes, train and supervise associate project managers and volunteers, track project managers, and support the PMO director.
Experience in project management administration, ability to train and supervise PMs, and manage multiple projects within a PMO.
This person defines the department for project management (PMO). The department assesses applicants for project management, trains those who are new to project management - often starting as assocaite project managers, assigns to projects and supervises those volunteers supporting the program. As an administrator, this person can define process and establish expectations. The department is responsible for between 20 and 35 projects. for the project management office. Tracks new PMs, alerts the director when PMs leave or when new ones arrive, notes overview visits and reports from PM mentor/consultants. Generally support the PM Office director.
