About The Role The Senior BI Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the FP&A function and wider business by designing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards, reports, and underlying data models. This position ensures that financial and operational reporting is accurate, automated where possible, and accessible to stakeholders across the organization. The Senior BI Analyst will report to the VP of Global FP&A to support the translation of complex business questions into structured, scalable reporting solutions. About You Key Responsibilities Dashboard & Reporting Development • Design and deliver robust, scalable reporting solutions that support business growth. • Develop advanced variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) • Create dynamic dashboards with drill-down capabilities and bridge analysis • Consolidate data sources to support centralised reporting and eliminate duplication. • Present trends, variances, and key business drivers through clear, impactful visualisations. Data Engineering & Reliability • Architect and maintain data warehousing solutions to ensure integrity and scalability. • Manage queries, transformations, and connections to maintain data accuracy. • Validate ERP data (Epicor UK/US and other systems) by collaborating with Finance and Operations teams. • Implement automated data pipelines to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency. • Ensure all reporting solutions refresh consistently and adapt to evolving business needs. Cross-Functional Dashboard Support • Deliver tailored dashboards for departmental needs, including overheads, cost structures, spend visibility, and order-level detail. • Provide drill-down functionality for granular analysis and actionable insights. Skills & Experience • Accountability & Execution: Owns outcomes end-to-end; sets clear commitments and drives actions. • Strategic Mindset & Business Partnering: Connects analytics to growth, margin, and operational levers. • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Translate complex analytical models into clear , concise commentary for executives. • Technology & Innovation: Champions automation and scalable BI solutions. Functional Competencies • Power BI Excellence: Advanced data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and visual design standards. • Data Engineering & Warehousing: Designs robust data pipelines and manages refresh operations. • Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L, margin, and variance reporting. • ERP Data Fluency (Epicor): Works with ERP tables and reconciles to GL. • Data Governance & Compliance: Enforces definitions, security roles, and naming standards.
