Full Description

A growing, private Christian school in Kearny, NJ is seeking to fill a full-time teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective math lessons that align with the school's curriculum, and Christian values for grades K-4. • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth among students. • Integrate Christian principles and teachings into daily instruction and interactions with students, promoting the integration of faith into all aspects of learning. • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote critical thinking skills. • Participate in school events, and professional development opportunities to support the school's mission and vision. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Education • NJ Teaching Certificate preferred, with appropriate endorsements for the subject(s) taught. • Experience teaching at the elementary school level. • Strong commitment to upholding Christian values and integrating faith into education. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community beyond the classroom.
