As a Manager at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Strategic Operations (SOP) practice as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will work alongside our clients to define and implement strategies that will deliver both short-term results and longer-term competitiveness in this ever-changing market environment. Through unique hands-on experiences, you will broaden your knowledge across a breadth of topics while developing relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. We want to hear from you if you are: • Insightful, inquisitive, collaborative • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Have functional experience in one or more of the following areas: • Network resets / redesign: o Supply chain network design, network optimization, and short- and long-term network strategy o Tool-based and non-tool-based network analysis and optimization o Transportation planning and management o Omnichannel fulfillment and customer delivery o Distribution and logistics strategy o Transportation network design, optimization, and mode strategy o Warehouse and distribution center design, assessment, and optimization o Route, flow-path, hub-and-spoke, and shipment consolidation optimization • Cost and service improvement / supply chain innovation o Logistics procurement and third-party logistics management o Logistics assessments and logistics cost takeout o Transportation analytics and cost-to-serve optimization o Supply chain resilience and logistics risk management o Logistics sustainability and transportation decarbonization o Transportation sourcing, carrier strategy, and 3PL performance management o Logistics cost reduction and cost-to-serve improvement o Supply chain resilience and disruption response o Sustainability strategy, including fleet electrification and logistics emissions reduction • Distribution operations innovation, AI technology, and agentic capabilities to improve distribution o Distribution and logistics operations o Warehouse and distribution center “four walls” operations o Warehouse operations and distribution center management o Distribution center, warehouse, and distribution modernization o Logistics operating model design and performance management o Distribution technology implementation and digital logistics transformation o Transportation analytics, network modeling, and optimization tools • Are located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Toronto, or Washington, DC. • MBA degree preferred with 8+ years of professional experience. • Experience working as a Management Consultant required. • Experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships. • Passion for leading teams and mentoring colleagues. • Have managed at least one major workstream of the business design. • This role requires approximately 50–80%25 travel, based on client and business needs. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, office location, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
