Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team towards achieving sales and operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in the wholesale electrical industry. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a positive and competitive environment to drive store success. Duties • Lead and manage all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and merchandising. • Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure high performance and professional growth. • Oversee employee schedules, shift management to optimize staffing levels. • Oversee shipping/receiving and warehouse departments • Oversee Sales Counter (customer service) department • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock replenishment, and oversee purchasing decisions. • Ensure compliance with company policies, • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members. • Maintain effective communication with staff and upper management to facilitate smooth operations. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction. • Assist in marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and sales performance. Experience • Strong background in electrical wholesale distribution, inventory management, and leading teams. • Demonstrated leadership skills, training & development, and employee supervision. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. • Proficiency in electrical industry and/or construction industry • Experience with merchandising, marketing strategies, purchasing decisions, and inventory control is highly desirable. • Effective communication skills along with phone etiquette are essential for interacting with customers, vendors, and staff alike.
