Position Summary The Senior Material Master Coordinator reports to the Manager or Director of Global Procurement Operations and is responsible for the daily maintenance and improvement of Material Master Data for KBI globally. This role: Supports existing supply chain and procure-to-pay (P2P) execution systems and the SAP S4/HANA implementation project. Maintains Material Master data in planning and execution systems such as SAP S4/HANA, ASCTrac, Great Plains, and other systems implemented in the future. Ensures master data integrity across systems with adherence to corporate policy/standard operating procedures, monitoring the integrations amongst systems, and creating metrics/report of master data health. Participates in the product life cycle management process (new product introduction, replacement, discontinuation, etc.) Assists in process development to ensure master data inputs and approvals are obtained from relevant functional areas, including Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Quality. Actively seeks and implements continuous improvement opportunities with the master data governance strategy, workflow process, procedures, and systems used to maintain master data. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Assists in the completion of initiative action items to forward the maturity of Material Master/Product Lifecycle processes and procedures. Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology. Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment. Assists with Purchasing and Vendor Master Data as assigned by Management. Contributes to the morale of the team through exchange of positive energy and cross-functional knowledge sharing and experience. Responsibility Serves as a doer/verifier that all material master entries by those on the team are correct and accurate according to information provided and within the best practices of SAP S4/Hana Implementation. Participates in the product life cycle management process. Participates in J-SOX / financial or compliance audits, including activities related to “always audit ready” status. Ensures master data integrity across systems with adherence to corporate policy/standard operating procedures, monitoring the integrations amongst systems, and creating metrics/report of master data health. Participates on enhancements and project work by managing and executing aspects of training plans and curriculums, trouble shooting and resolving issues, participating as a subject matter expert on S4/Hana Material Master Attributes on the project team. Identifies, implements, and leads continuous process improvement in master data governance strategy and workflows. Responsible for periodic reviews, drafts, and approvals of SOP-related content. Responsible for preparing for, maintaining, and leading, and internal client feedback for Material Council or Board meetings as well as serving as a back- up for other council/board meetings. Responsible for supporting Purchasing and Vendor Master Data Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of experience as project team member or product owners using an agile development methodology. Advanced understanding of the mechanics of SAP Master Data and how it is integrated with the end-to-end supply chain process within SAP MM Modules (SAP S4/Hana experience highly preferred). 3 years of experience trouble shooting and resolving master data issues. Proven track record of delivering practical, data driven solutions with a customer- first mindset. Highly collaborative, pragmatic thinking mindset and problem solver. Proactive, independent learner, beginner’s mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work autonomously to manage tasks and drive initiatives with minimal oversight. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. High degree of organization, self-motivation, and personal accountability. Possesses a techno-functional aptitude with a balanced technical knowledge and business acumen. Salary Range: $74,000-$102,300 Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
