We are looking for SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) techno-functional. Please share your resume with rate and availability. Position: SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Tech/Func(EHANA) Duration: 1-2 years Location: Remote EAST Coast US Role Overview • Client facing role for an SAP support project. • Bridging the gap between business financial modeling and technical system configuration in a regulated Life Sciences environment. Key Responsibilities • Solution Design & Support: Design, configure, and maintain SAP PaPM (formerly FS-PER) models for cost allocations, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting. • EHANA • Technical Execution: Build and optimize complex functions within PaPM, including allocations, calculations, and data derivations using the PaPM engine and SQLScript. • Data Integration: Manage data flows between SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), SAP BW/4HANA, and external non-SAP data sources. • Life Sciences Compliance: Ensure all system enhancements and configurations comply with industry-specific regulations such as GxP and Computer Systems Validation (CSV). • Stakeholder Management: Act as a client-facing expert to gather requirements from finance and business teams, translating them into technical specifications. Required Technical Skills • SAP PaPM Core: Expert knowledge of the PaPM environment, including environment setup, function types, and the modular writer. • S/4HANA Finance: Understanding of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and integration with Cost Center Accounting and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). • HANA Database: Proficiency in SAP HANA modeling (Calculation Views) and SQLScript for high-performance data processing. • Reporting Tools: Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Analysis for Office for visualizing PaPM outputs. Professional & "Client Facing" Skills • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical PaPM logic to non-technical business stakeholders. • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying performance bottlenecks in large-scale data allocations. Documentation: Creating high-quality functional (FS) and technical specifications (TS) required for validated environments.
