Candidates must have over 4 years of experience in EDGAR and document processing. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Position: EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm) Organization: Elite International Law Firm Location: Downtown NYC (fully remote) Comp Package: Base to $110K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits Day One, Tuition Reimbursement, Bonus, 401K+, etc. Responsibilities for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm): Research and compile data needed to prepare electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documents Communicate with lawyers and supervisors regarding jobs, instructions or deadlines Provide at-desk support to lawyers or off-site client support as requested Assist with the documentation and materials utilized in the department training program Produce, edit and format complex legal documents; format, revise and blackline documents Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint Answer phones and provide technical help when needed Proofread work for accuracy Requirements for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm): 4+ years of experience as an EDGAR and document processing operator Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PROFILE EDGAR software, DocX Tools, Workshare Compare, OmniPage, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, minimally staffed environment Must be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanor Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff and clients
