We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our Core Banking technology operations. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Jack Henry Symitar systems and a proven track record of managing teams, driving system reliability, and delivering strategic technology initiatives in the financial industry. What You’ll Do • Oversee and guide the administration, support, and enhancement of core banking systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business goals. • Manage and implement Jack Henry Symitar updates and releases, ensuring smooth transitions through thorough planning, testing, and coordination. • Lead system failovers and disaster recovery exercises to maintain operational continuity and safeguard data integrity. • Supervise and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. • Manage SQL Database Servers, focusing on data ingestion, extraction, query optimization, and backups to ensure robust data availability and efficiency. • Direct complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, timelines, and budgets. • Provide strategic oversight on troubleshooting critical system issues, maintaining uninterrupted core banking services. • Collaborate across departments to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and effective technology solutions. What You Bring • 10+ years of experience supporting banking or financial applications in a technical, analyst, or administrator role. • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in an IT environment. • Expertise in Jack Henry Symitar and related core banking systems. • Strong knowledge of SQL Server management and performance optimization. • Proven experience executing disaster recovery plans and system failovers. • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
