Role Overview: As a Client Accounting Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. - You will manage client engagements, serving as the primary point of contact to address their accounting needs. - You will lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. - You will coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery. - You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all client accounting activities. - You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. - You will assist in business development efforts by supporting proposals and client presentations. - You will stay current with industry trends and accounting standards to provide informed guidance. What You Bring: - You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or client accounting services. - You have strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. - You possess excellent leadership and team management skills. - You demonstrate exceptional communication and client relationship management abilities. - You are proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You hold a CPA license or equivalent certification. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online or Xero. - Background in audit or tax services to complement client accounting expertise. - Advanced Excel skills including data analysis and reporting. - Experience working with diverse industries and complex client portfolios.
