Role Overview: As a Client Accounting Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and overseeing accounting services to ensure accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. - You will lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. - You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with regulatory standards. - You will collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and offer tailored accounting solutions. - You will ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles and legal requirements. - You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the team. - You will coordinate with other departments to support comprehensive client service delivery. - You will stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - You possess at least 5 years of experience in accounting or client services within a professional services environment. - You hold a CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification. - You demonstrate strong leadership skills with experience managing teams. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships. - You are proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online or Xero. - Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and regulations. - Prior experience in a public accounting firm. - Advanced certifications such as CMA or MBA.
