Role Overview: As a Client Accounting Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and overseeing accounting services to ensure accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. - You will lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - You will collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored accounting solutions. - You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in compliance with regulatory standards. - You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the team. - You will coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. - You will stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively. - You will contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities. What You Bring: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or client services management, preferably within a public accounting firm. - Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and ERP systems. - Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance processes. - Advanced certifications such as CMA or CPA. - Experience in business development or client acquisition.
