Job Title Program Manager - East Coast & West Coast (Remote with Heavy Travel) Location ORLANDO, FL 32826 US (Primary) Job Type Full-time Job Description Location: Remote - One position based on the East Coast, one on the West Coast Travel: 50% or more (domestic travel required) Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance About the Role Katmai is looking for two experienced Program Managers to join our team - one located on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. In this role, you'll provide leadership and direction for programs that directly support the U.S. military. This is a high-impact, client-facing position where you'll oversee contract operations, manage teams across multiple locations, and ensure mission success. What You'll Do • Manage and maintain Contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. • Consult with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations. • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show management and customers project progress. • Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks and assume the initiative and/or provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business. • Prepare, edit, and route awards actions utilizing the Improved Awards Processing System or other means of submission. • Assist in developing and tracking the execution of staff/division budgets, and assist in the creation of funding requests or coordinating cross-organizational travel funding. • Provide calendar management, initiating and monitoring schedule/meeting requests, and prioritizing these requests. • Participate in meetings and take minutes, capture all action items, and forward the minutes to the appropriate person for distribution. • Assist in the preparation, publication, and distribution of briefing materials associated with the execution of meetings/ events. • Facilitate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), special advisory boards, and on-site and off-site working group meetings. Job Requirements What We're Looking For • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Administration (or equivalent experience). • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with Learning Management Systems. • Experience: Background in Navy or military training programs, curriculum development, and classroom/site survey design is highly valued. • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship generally required). • Leadership: Ability to organize and assign responsibilities to team members while managing multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications • Navy or military experience strongly preferred. • Skilled in program administration, scheduling, and planning. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
