Katamount Construction | New Jersey & Surrounding Areas Katamount Construction is one of the fastest-growing residential and commercial construction companies on the East Coast. Due to rapid growth and consistent inbound demand, we’re expanding our field team and looking for a motivated, experienced professional to manage estimates, sell projects, and support job execution. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with strong earning potential and long-term growth opportunities for the right person. Role Overview You will be responsible for running on-site estimates, accurately scoping work inside and out, presenting pricing, and closing projects. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact from estimate through job start and work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth execution. Leads are provided — you will be sent directly to scheduled estimates. You may also generate and close your own work for increased commission upside. Key Responsibilities • Conduct on-site estimates for residential and light commercial projects • Scope interior and exterior work and prepare accurate estimates • Present proposals and close jobs with homeowners and property managers • Act as the main point of contact from estimate to job start • Coordinate measurements, materials, and job readiness • Handle occasional errands and material pickups as needed • Maintain a professional, high-trust client experience Compensation & Earnings (1099) • $50,000 annual base (1099 draw) • Commission on every job closed • Higher commission for self-generated leads • Strong commission on company-provided leads • Expected total compensation: $100,000–$150,000+ • Uncapped earning potential based on performance Ideal Candidate • Experience in construction estimating, project management, or sales • Strong understanding of residential construction (roofing, siding, decks, remodeling, etc.) • Confident communicator with the ability to sell value, not just price • Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple projects • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Self-motivated and comfortable operating as a 1099 contractor Why Katamount Construction • One of the largest and fastest-growing construction companies on the East Coast • Consistent inbound lead flow — no cold knocking required • Clear path to increased responsibility and leadership as we scale • Strong systems, support, and operational structure • Opportunity to grow alongside a company that rewards performance If you’re looking for a high-upside 1099 opportunity with steady leads and room to grow, we’d love to connect.
