Role: Vice President (VP) of Data & Analytics Delivery Location: Remote Experience • 15+ years of experience in technology or data delivery, with significant experience leading large, complex programs • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, or AI initiatives in a large, matrixed organization • Experience working closely with or reporting into a Chief Data Officer or equivalent executive role • Strong background managing multiple vendors, system integrators, and global teams Data & Technical Background • Solid understanding of modern data architectures and platforms (cloud data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, analytics stacks) • Hands-on familiarity with data engineering, analytics delivery, and data governance concepts • Ability to engage credibly with architects and engineers while maintaining executive-level perspective Leadership & Communication • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills in high-ambiguity environments • Experience operating in regulated or compliance-heavy environments preferred Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a publicly listed company or similarly regulated enterprise • Background in financial services, healthcare, telecom, or other data-intensive industries • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field Success Measures • On-time, on-budget delivery of strategic data programs • Measurable business impact from data and analytics initiatives • Improved delivery predictability, transparency, and stakeholder confidence • Strong partnership and trust with the CDO and executive leadership team Role Overview The Vice President of Data & Analytics Delivery is responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and AI programs across the organization. This role ensures that complex, multi-year initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable business impact, while maintaining high standards for data quality, governance, security, and scalability. The VP will act as the execution arm of the CDO s strategy, translating vision into operational reality across multiple portfolios, programs, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Own delivery of multiple concurrent, enterprise-scale data programs, including data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, governance, and regulatory initiatives • Establish and run a portfolio-level delivery model, balancing priorities across business units, geographies, and stakeholders • Drive disciplined execution using appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, waterfall) based on program context • Ensure consistent delivery outcomes across internal teams, system integrators, and external partners • Oversee delivery across core data domains, including: Data platforms (lakehouse, cloud data platforms),Data engineering & integration, Analytics & BI, AI / advanced analytics use cases and Data governance, quality, privacy, and lineage • Partner closely with architecture, engineering, and security teams to ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant • Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise data standards, reference architectures, and long-term roadmap • Serve as a senior delivery partner to business leaders, product owners, and technology executives • Proactively manage executive communications, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs • Translate complex technical delivery topics into clear business-level updates and outcomes • Own delivery budgets, forecasts, and vendor spend across the portfolio • Drive productivity, capacity planning, and resource optimization • Establish delivery KPIs and metrics tied to business value realization, not just output Best Regards, John Joseph M Sr. Associate US IT Recruiter
