The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our creative team full-time from our Ferndale office. This role is a core part of the team we’re building and is ideal for someone who wants ownership, impact, and room to grow. Coming from the social media space ourselves, we know this role often means doing a little of everything. This position is focused on the designing, writing, scheduling, and posting side of social media, with strategy, creativity, and execution working together. You’ll own and elevate social media across multiple client accounts, helping shape brand voice, manage content calendars, and collaborate closely with designers, videographers, strategists, and account managers to bring campaigns to life. If you’re creative, organized, proactive, and excited to take ownership of social strategy from concept through execution, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Execution • Own day-to-day management of client social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Meta) • Create, schedule, and publish engaging organic social content aligned with brand voice and business goals for various clients from multiple industries • Develop and manage content calendars across multiple accounts • Stay current on platform trends, formats, and best practices Content Creation & Copywriting • Write compelling social copy including captions, short-form copy, and light ad copy • Create and curate graphics, reels, short-form video, and/or UGC-style content • When needed, film content using a phone and edit video for social platforms • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and strategists to execute creative ideas • Ensure all content maintains strong brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency Content Strategy & Brand Development • Contribute to brand voice development and content frameworks • Audit existing social content and recommend optimizations or refreshes • Support campaign planning and creative brainstorming Team Collaboration & Support • Work closely with account managers, strategists, and creative team members • Support cross-functional projects as needed • Participate in internal reviews and creative feedback loops What We're Looking For • 2+ years experience managing organic social media for multiple businesses • Experience across major platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta • Strong copywriting skills and taste for social (captions, short-form copy, ad copy) • Follows up-to-date social media best practices and trends • Design ability to edit or create social graphics • Comfortable filming and editing video for social platforms • Reliable, deadline-driven, organized, and a strong team player • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Bonus Points • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite • Strong video editing skills • Influencer & UGC Management • On-camera presence • Experience coordinating shoots or small crews • Ability to write shot lists • Social media strategy experience beyond posting and scheduling Tools You'll Work With • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) • Asana • Slack • Adobe Suite • Canva • CapCut • ChatGPT • Upsplash and other stock libraries Why KARMA jack • Full-time role with growth and advancement opportunities • Collaborative, creative, and supportive team environment • Work with national and multi-location brands • Clear expectations, strong leadership, and room to make a real impact • Competitive compensation, benefits, and PTO
