Position Summary The Region Sales Manager (RSM) – Surgical is responsible for leading sales efforts and achieving revenue targets across surgical specialties (Laparoscopy, Gastroenterology, Arthroscopy, CV/Thoracoscopy) and project business (Video Imaging and OR1 Integration) in the Ohio Valley region. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales team. • Recruit and retain top sales talent; address performance and HR issues as needed. Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and execute annual sales plans and forecasts. • Drive market share growth across all product lines. • Leverage product differentiators to influence purchasing decisions. Customer & Market Engagement • Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare stakeholders. • Serve as key account manager for strategic customers. • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and post-sale support. Market Intelligence • Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to internal teams. • Recommend new product opportunities or enhancements. Administrative & Compliance • Manage regional budget and sales sample inventory. • Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting requirements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. • Minimum 5 years of management experience, including 2+ years in medical device sales (surgical preferred). • Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams. • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and travel up to 50%. • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
