Role Description This is a contract role for a SEO Content Intern (Paid Internship). The SEO Content Intern will be responsible for conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, and developing link-building strategies. Additional tasks include analyzing web analytics data and implementing on-page SEO optimizations. This role is perfect for a current college student or recent grad who wants hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, and content creation. What You’ll Do • Research trending keywords and topics in our target industries • Assist in creating and optimizing blog posts, landing pages, and metadata • Support with internal linking, on-page SEO, and content formatting • Learn how to analyze SEO performance in tools like Google Search Console & GA4 • Help brainstorm content ideas that align with client goals and trends Work Setup • Work from our San Diego office 2 days per week (Mondays & Thursdays, 5 hrs each) • Additional work may be done remotely as needed What We’re Looking For • Current student or recent grad (Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field) • Strong writing and editing skills • Interest in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, or SEO tools (a plus, not required) Internship Details • Paid internship: $18–$22/hr (depending on experience) • ~10 hours/week (5 hrs on Mondays, 5 hrs on Thursdays) • Hands-on mentorship from agency leadership • Potential for school credit (we’re happy to coordinate with your university)
