Temp to Perm position that is remote, but prefer candidates in Maryland or surrounding states. Conversion salary is $75K + excellent benefits. • Primary function is a production support role for the custom built application. • Experience is supporting multiple apps would be good. • Small IT team of 12 for nonprofit. Application Administrator Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Applications Administrator will oversee a range of tasks related to software applications, including tech support and troubleshooting. The position will provide support directly to end users, including both internal and external teams. The Application Administrator will brainstorm and collaborate with various stakeholders to play an active role in the selection, configuration, and implementation of application systems. The role also involves developing training materials and documentation. Key Areas of Responsibility: • Subject matter expert on custom built and off the shelf applications. • Manage and maintain applications, which include managing the bug-fix process, addition of enhancements or new modules, modifying workflows and configurations administering and maintaining databases, querying and/or analyzing application data. • Work with users on feature requests, upgrades, migrations and integrations. • Update and maintain both system and user documentation. • Provide timely and accurate support company Information System and other supported systems for internal and external users. • Generate reports and database queries using SQL. • Plan, coordinate, test and communicate application changes. • Perform deployments of application releases to production. • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and optimization strategies. • Coordinate the development and delivery of training on process changes and how to use the software to promote business adoption of system capabilities and features. • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant professional experience. • Proven experience with database development, maintenance, and data analysis. • Proficient with SQL. • Proficient with JIRA. • Proficient with Microsoft Products including Excel and Word. • Experience in being a subject matter expert. • Experience with any reporting tool. • End user training. • Desired Skills: SharePoint, Salesforce • Technical aptitude. • Ability to influence others and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated ability to develop consensus, support others for their success, and work with people of varied backgrounds.
