About the role: We need a product development catalyst who can hit the ground running and accelerate our development velocity from day one. You're the type of Sr. Full Stack Engineer who can architect, code, and ship features in days while simultaneously elevating the technical capabilities of the entire team. You thrive in ambiguous startup environments where you need to wear multiple hats and make critical technical decisions with incomplete information. Our ideal candidate has experience with agentic AI orchestration, which will be a key feature of the product we are building. Position Summary: We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Full Stack Engineer to lead and accelerate our product development efforts. This role combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, focusing on rapidly building and scaling our core product while mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate excels at moving fast, making pragmatic technical decisions, and building systems that can scale with explosive growth. Key Responsibilities: • Rapid Feature Development: Design and ship full-stack features end-to-end in days, not weeks • Architecture & Scalability: Make critical architectural decisions that support 10x growth while maintaining development velocity • Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes • Full Stack Ownership: Build responsive frontends, robust APIs, scalable backends, and optimize database performance • Product Discovery: Collaborate directly with founders and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the entire stack • Technical Decision Making: Drive technology choices that maximize development speed while minimizing technical debt • Process Implementation: Establish lightweight but effective development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and business teams to prioritize and deliver features • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create clear technical documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across the team Required Qualifications: • Architected and deployed a multi-agent AI orchestration system using LangChain and GPT-4, enabling autonomous task decomposition and parallel execution across 5+ specialized agents. • Multi-agent systems, LLM orchestration, autonomous task planning, tool calling, ReAct/CoT prompting, agent memory/state management, workflow automation, human-in-the-loop validation • Frontend: Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and responsive CSS • Backend: Advanced experience with Node.js, Python, or similar server-side technologies • Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases • Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including containerization (Docker), serverless, and CI/CD • API Development: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, real-time technologies (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events) Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of full stack development experience with 3+ years in senior/lead roles • 2+ years of experience in startup environments (Series A-C preferred) Preferred Qualifications: • Scaling Experience: Experience taking products from MVP to millions of users • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, or regulatory environments • Advanced Technologies: Experience with machine learning integration, data pipelines, or advanced analytics If you're a passionate and driven Principal Full Stack Engineer who's ready to make a lasting impact on the world of coding, we encourage you to apply!
