Job Title: Product Owner – Automotive Intelligence Location: Remote Rate $40-50 an hour About the Role We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Automotive Intelligence team and help develop and execute a new product offering. What You’ll Do • Partner with Product and Data Analytics leadership to define product strategy and roadmaps (short- and long-term). • Lead backlog grooming and prioritization, bridging business value with technical implementation. • Translate product features into clear backlog items with well-defined acceptance criteria. • Build user story maps, write user stories, manage backlog refinement and prioritization, and support acceptance test-driven development. • Create and maintain release documentation and ongoing training materials. • Represent agile teams in sprint reviews, articulating delivered business value. • Apply creative and rigorous problem-solving to address platform-wide technical and business challenges. • Identify key value drivers, opportunities, and sources of error across products and processes. • Lead short-term preventive measures and long-term product improvement initiatives in close collaboration with engineering, QA, and data support teams. • Coordinate with engineers to design repeatable processes and generate deliverables to answer routine business questions. What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment. • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, information management, or a related quantitative field. • Proven experience using data and analytics to drive decision-making, with ability to clearly explain analysis to executive stakeholders. • Deep understanding of Agile development principles with flexible, practical application. • Conceptual knowledge of data integration technologies and standards. • Hands-on experience with road-mapping and issue tracking tools (Aha!, MS Azure DevOps, Salesforce). • Familiarity with Excel, SQL, BigQuery, MongoDB, and Postman preferred. • Advocate for data-driven decision-making, empirical research, and engineering best practices. • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. • Collaborative team player comfortable working with globally distributed teams across time zones.
