What You Will Do This role manages the financial operations that keep our companies organized, compliant, and financially healthy. You will directly support ownership and content-driven brands with accuracy, foresight, and structure. Scope of Work → Handle administrative onboarding for new clients including DocuSign agreements and payment setup → Set up and manage billing, invoicing, and recurring payments → Manage daily payment processing and client outreach when necessary → Reconcile and categorize transactions from Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Stripe, and credit card accounts → Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online for multiple companies → Classify and document all business expenses with receipts, timestamps, and business purpose for tax efficiency → File quarterly taxes, franchise taxes, and estimated payments, coordinating with our CPA for annual filings → Process payroll and maintain employee and contractor documentation including W9s, 1099s, and employment agreements → Manage accounting automations to streamline workflow and improve reporting → Audit books regularly to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability → Meet regularly with ownership to review financials and oversee creator-related accounting What You Will Need → Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online → Strong understanding of Shopify, Stripe, and e-commerce accounting → Five or more years of accounting or financial operations experience → Strong tax literacy with the ability to maintain compliance, identify deductible expenditures, and prepare CPA-ready financials → Knowledge of business expense classification, tax strategy, and P&L management → Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to stay proactive under pressure → Must live in or near Sugar Land, Texas. This is an in-office position only → Must consistently demonstrate the 4 C’s: Competence, Common Sense, Critical Thinking, Consistency Additional Requirements This position does not require a CPA license; however, deep tax understanding and strong accounting fundamentals are essential. All candidates will complete a DISC personality assessment prior to hiring.
