Department: Accounting Workplace Type: Remote Reports To: Manager of Business Analytics Salary Range: $100,000-$117,000 Benefits: Eligible for comprehensive benefits (including healthcare) if working 30+ hours/week Role Overview The Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Budget, Forecast & Compensation Planning: • Prepare and validate data templates for lawyer reviews • Support month-end processes (FTE/headcount calculations) • Analyze hiring and attrition trends • Manage salary and bonus review timelines • Assist with benchmarking and compensation surveys • Contribute to annual budgeting (revenue, cost assumptions) • Prepare materials for Budget Committee meetings • Maintain budgeting/forecasting software and provide user support Process Improvement • Identify automation and reporting efficiency opportunities • Document recurring processes • Maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive data Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics • 0–2 years in an analytical role • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, IF statements) • Experience with budgeting/forecasting software is a plus • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and SQL preferred • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
