Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Just Dump It. This roles ensures that crews, trucks, schedules, and customers jobs are coordinated efficiently and profitably. The Operations Manager acts as the link between dispatch, drivers, and leadership, making sure every job is completed safely, on time, and to company standard. This position requires strong leadership, logistical thinking, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-moving, service-driven environment. The Operations Manager is expected to improve efficiency, reduce waste, support steady growth while maintaining excellent customer experience. Duties • Lead, motivate, and supervise teams across various departments to ensure high performance and engagement. • Coordinate with different departments to streamline processes, improve workflows, and implement best practices. • Ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and execute action plans to optimize operations. • Oversee daily job scheduling, routing, and crew assignments. • Ensure trucks and crews are dispatched on time and fully prepared. • Monitor job progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed. • Resolve field issues, delays, or customer concerns quickly. • Handle escalated customer issues or complaints. • Follow up on missed, delayed, or disputed jobs. • Report key metrics to management. • Identify areas to improve efficiency, profit, and customer satisfaction. • Enforce safety policies and proper lifting, driving, and disposal procedures. • Ensure all crews follow local regulations and company policies. Requirements • Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams and leading organizational change. • Comfortable communicating with field staff, office staff, and customers. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative work environment. • Strong attention to detail for job tracking, paperwork, and reporting. • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels. • Excellent scheduling, planning, and time-management skills. • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, job tracking systems). • Proven ability to manage multiple crews, vehicles, or daily job schedules. • Prior experience in sales or client relationship management is preferred.
