Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Director of Content and Programming to lead the planning, coordination, execution, program agenda, and help obtain speakers and help orgainize the event flow for the first annual 3 day Jupiter Festival Miami October 6th-9th 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. We are the first Global Event for the business of Media, Entertainment and Sports. We are all about the FUTURE of CONTENT. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in managing big events, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Website: Jupiter-Miami.com Duties • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational goals. • Oversee all aspects of the event planning, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, and logistics management, and speaker relations. • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution the event, from corporate functions to community fundraisers. • Manage event teams and delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks. • Upsell additional services or products during the event to maximize revenue opportunities. • Maintain excellent guest services standards, ensuring attendees have positive experiences. • Utilize organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and optimize event schedules. • Monitor event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement. • Foster relationships with clients, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance future collaborations. Experience • Proven 12 years of experience in content management and program development within festivals, high end corporate events, conventions, or related projects. • Demonstrable success in upselling and increasing revenue through strategic initiatives. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members effectively. • Prior experience in events and convention environments will be considered an asset. • Ability to demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational abilities to deliver high-quality events consistently.
