Senior DevOps Engineer We’re jumpapp.com! AI For Financial Advisors If you’re a DevOps engineer who loves building and scaling infrastructure with Terraform, GCP, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes (GKE) — and the following sounds fun to you — come help us build an awesome product & company! We have an efficient hiring process that takes about a couple of weeks from when you apply to when you receive an offer! Interview Process 15 minute screening interview 40 minute live coding exercise A paid trial week where you build a feature we really need, attend our morning team meeting and meet team members. Required Qualifications: Experience & Technical Expertise At least 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years at a senior level. Deep expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Strong experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform), including networking, IAM, GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud SQL, and logging/monitoring stacks. Proven track record designing, scaling, and operating distributed systems in production. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus!). Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalents). Comfort with system design tradeoffs, performance optimization, and reliability engineering. System Design & Architecture Ability to design resilient, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure for fast-moving engineering teams. Experience setting up scalable Kubernetes clusters and managing production workloads. Familiarity with security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, Vanta, etc.). Leadership & Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience leading technical initiatives across teams, building consensus, and mentoring others. Founder-minded: proactive, self-driven, and eager to take ownership of problems end-to-end. 🛠️ Tech Stack & Practices Infrastructure: 100% Terraform-managed (GitHub, Cloudflare, GCP, etc.). Hosting: GCP, GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud SQL (Postgres with replicas). CI/CD: GitHub Actions with automatic staging environments for every PR. Monitoring/Observability: GCP logging, Prometheus, Grafana. Culture: No gatekeeping—engineers own their code and infra. Self-driven, high velocity. Compliance: SOC 2 with Vanta.
