Location: REMOTE Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $25.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Analyst/Product Owner This job will have the following responsibilities: Product Vision & Strategy • Lead the full product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization. • Align product decisions with business goals, customer needs, and the long‑term roadmap. • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to shape product direction and ensure strategic alignment. Backlog Management • Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to ensure clarity and alignment on priorities. • Provide development teams with well‑defined requirements and context to support efficient execution. User Stories & Acceptance Criteria • Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories/defects with detailed acceptance criteria. • Ensure stories and defects are fully groomed, well‑understood, and ready for development. Stakeholder Collaboration • Engage closely with customers, business leaders, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and communicate updates. • Manage stakeholder expectations and foster alignment throughout the product lifecycle. Sprint Planning & Review • Actively participate in sprint planning to clarify priorities, scope, and goals. • Review completed work and accept user stories at sprint close, ensuring quality and alignment. User‑Centric Focus • Advocate for end‑users by deeply understanding needs, behaviors, and pain points—especially within the prior authorization journey. • Ensure product decisions reflect customer value and usability. Continuous Improvement • Evaluate product development processes and drive implementation of best practices. • Identify opportunities to enhance team efficiency, product quality, and outcomes. Adaptability • Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment with shifting priorities and ambiguous challenges. • Maintain focus while navigating competing demands and rapid change. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of product management experience, including new product development. • 1+ years of experience building external market products (not just internal tools). • 1+ years of experience developing digital solutions. • Experience working in agile development environments. • Proficiency with agile tools such as Rally or equivalent. • Demonstrated success collaborating with engineering and cross‑functional partners. • Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business goals into technical requirements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. • Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem (payers, providers, regulatory bodies). • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide decision‑making. • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity with confidence.
