Role Overview: As a Dam & Water Resources Engineer at Jub.com, you will play a vital role in our Engineering & Design Department by applying your specialized knowledge to the design, modification, and analysis of dam structures and water resource systems. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, functionality, and environmental compliance of critical infrastructure projects. What You'll Do: - You will design and analyze dam structures and water resource systems using advanced engineering principles. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for water management challenges. - You will conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and execution. - You will prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and construction documents. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines. - You will utilize software tools to model hydrological and hydraulic systems. - You will participate in project meetings and communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Design Department. What You Bring: - A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in dam engineering and water resources management. - Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar. - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to dam safety. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification. - Experience with GIS and CAD software. - Background in environmental impact assessments. - Familiarity with emerging technologies in water resource engineering.
